“The Music of Scent” is a scientific and artistic research project exploring fragrances and translating their chemical properties into sound compositions. I studied the chemical composition of each fragrance: the molecular formula and structure of each element, and the infrared spectrum of each molecule. Then, based on the retrieved data, generative audio was created using MaxMSP.
