ARTIST STATEMENT
In today’s world, humanity faces complex choices:
  • to perceive our differences as a threat, or to find interconnections within them;
  • to plunge into the abyss of change and trust the unknown, or to cling to a familiar worldview.
I am drawn to the philosophical approach of Gilbert Simondon, who describes the world as an infinite, coherent whole that brings together a multitude of differences — radical and less so — in a state of constant development and interaction.

I believe it is important to explore the processes of human and societal transformation in our multifaceted, rapidly changing world — to help people learn to see the world from completely different perspectives, find interconnections, and use contradictions as a resource for development.

Like the avant-gardists, I believe that art is alive. It is within us, around us; we ourselves are art. It is through art that we can understand the world better and more deeply. And also better understand ourselves, reveal our essence and soul to the world. Ultimately, to achieve harmony and wholeness within ourselves and with the world.
